They have a queue just inside the front door if you just want to buy pastries. They sell pastries of course, but this place is so much more. I would enjoy coming back on a nice day and enjoying a coffee and breakfast on their patio. It has a really nice vibe and a beautiful ambiance.

We had a wonderful breakfast at Lafayette Grand Café in New York. The atmosphere was stylish yet relaxed, and there was enough space to sit comfortably. The food and drinks were delicious – everything was fresh, well-prepared, and full of flavor. While the prices are on the higher side, even for New York, the quality and overall experience made it absolutely worth it. A great spot to start the day in the city!

The service and food were both excellent. I enjoyed the rainbow trout with a salad, I also had their penicillin #2 cocktail. Which was well made. The staff was friendly and very courteous. One thing to keep in mind is that you have to order any baked goods from the Patisserie separately

Had a very tasty munch outdoor the sugar snap peas were delicious. The Hamachi was very tasty with a touch of lemon that I added. The trout was very good. Maybe a little too many capers steak tartar was delicious. Service was good not great and the wines by the glass had a nice selection. This place is huge with also a bakery

Quite possibly my favorite bakery in the city. The croissant is one of the best I’ve had and every pastry is so well made and executed. Definitely recommend the breakfast sandwich as it has crispy cheese on it. Also I once got a latte and also made perfectly.

Such a lovely spot to sit — outside on a sunny day or inside to enjoy the stunning interior décor. The atmosphere is charming and cozy. The food is fresh and delicious, though the menu is short. I had a natural green juice and a salad, both excellent. The bakery and pastry section always draws long lines, and for good reason — everything looks absolutely amazing!

I stopped in the café and bakery this past morning on my walk to grab a pastry and a hot chocolate. The butter croissant and the Cinna-Cruffin as well as the hot chocolate were very good. It's a nice atmosphere inside and out. The staff were very nice, I will definitely go back again!
